Can't say for sure without more detail, including your client platform and
level. But as a starter, here are some things that can cause your problem:

1) You changed the options file, but did not restart the scheduler service.

2) The scheduler service was installed pointing to a different options file
(I'm assuming a Windows client)

3) Your include/exclude is pointing to a drive that your LOGON id has
permissions to access, but the SYSTEM account running the scheduler does
not.

ANy of that ring a bell?

Subject: ADSM incremental problem

I have a couple of clients here, which I am running a scheduled
incremental from the client scheduler service, but appears to ignore the
options file and the include/exclude statements within it. However when
I attempt an incremental from the client itself, the backup seems to work
as intended. I'm totally baffled by this one, can anyone help?

Marc.
