Hello and thanks! I only have hands-on knowledge with DLT and DAT (on TSM) and the differencies are immense.
Restore from an aged file system (this means: files having been changed often and backuped daily for months) from DLT is as slow as 2 Gb per hour, restore from DAT is about 6 GB per hour. But DATs are not reliable at all. With LTO I await about 5GB per hour, wit AIT I hoped for more, untill you wrote me.. regards Juraj Salak -----Original Message----- From: Michel David [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: Sunday, November 18, 2001 10:55 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: anybody out there using AIT library? We use here AIT2 and AIT1 library. Also API using and Migration Backup take (at least) 8 times more than it's written in the manual. Our configuation: Qualstar (3-4 different sorts) 3.7.4 NT4.0 sp6 Good luck. If you success to make it run only 1/2 than they say so please tell us !!
