We are also using an LTO 3583 library now for 4 months. In these 4 months no cleaning has been done. I guess it doesn't need much cleaning (good technology isn't it ?)

We have been running it in production for 2 months and have not noticed any cleanings yet. We have the cleaning messages automated so that when a drive is cleaned we get notified. Also by looking at the "Cleanings Left" on the cleaning cartridge via a q libv we know that no cleanings have been done. Just curious how often people have seen these drives needing cleaning.
