No. You use the normal TDP for Exchange client along with the base client storage agent. The trick is to use the "ENABLELANFREE YES" in the dsm.opt options file. >From Chapter 1 of the TDP for Exchange 2.2 User's Guide: LAN Free Running TDP for Exchange in a LAN free environment avoids network constraints. Specify ENABLELANFREE YES in the TDP for Exchange options file. You must be equipped to operate in a LAN free environment.
