One of the ways to fix this is to do a 'q cont' on those files and then do a selective full backup on these files again. this way the database will expire those files on the bad tapes. Another way (if you have copypool tapes - offsite) you could perform a 'restore' command which will show you which tapes to recall and this will also expire the data after this was complete.
