There IS a doc written by Andy Raibeck called 'Using the ADSM SQL Interface'
which hass quite a comprehensive overview of the TSM DB. I found it by
typing the name in, in quotes, in google.

Infact, here's the link

ftp://borg.isc.ucsb.edu/pub/adsm/docs/!updates/raibeck.pdf

hope it helps.

To get this info use select statements.

select * from syscat.tables
select * from syscat.columns
select * from syscat.enumtypes

This will give you lots of info and you can use to see what
is in each table, etc. You can modify selects to get just
certain info instead of the whole thing.

That's it in a nutshell.

While we await an update to the ER diagram for TSM, can anyone
direct me to current documentation about the tables in the TSM Database,
including descriptions of each, with the names and descriptions of each
data coulmn included in the tables?
