Problem with MAC client

I need some answers on this problem that I have encountered at my site.
I have these MAC clients that I have to backup. They have OS 8.1 operating system. 
After I install the client and I try to launch the TSM Backup, I get "ControlsLib 
missing" error and we cannot proceed.
