Hi,
We are using compression on tsm netware clients (netware version 5.0 and 5.1).
The Netware Server are dual pentium systems with 256 and 512 MByte RAM
The TSM Client Version is 4.1.2.13
The client option file:

The backup speed of the incremental backup is very slow.
We do need compression, because we are using WAN connections (max speed
256 KBit/s) to the TSM server.
We have tested the uncompressed and compressed backup in a LAN (100 MBit/s
ethernet)
environment.
It seems to be that the speed of uncompressed backups is up to 10 time higher!
Did anybody know a solution for this problem?
