Hi Zoltan!
I have seen core dumps on other UNIX clients (AIX and Sun Solaris) when the
password file was corrupted. In this case, the commandline worked fine and
the GUI core dumped.
Just delete the /etc/adsm directory and try again.
Hope this helps!
Kindest regards,

Subject: TSM 4.2 client
Anyone have any issues (or luck) with the TSM 4.2 client, specifically on
LINUX (I think RH 7.1) ?
I have a user who just installed it and it wont work. It just takes a dump
when starting it. He removed it and went back to 4.1.2 which works fine.
