I have a disk-based pool of 92GB with the MAXSIZEthreshold set to 700M and the next storage pool set to my tapepool which has this parameter set to NO LIMIT. I have a few NetWare clients that have files that >700M. Everytime the backup hits these files on the node, the backup stops with an ANS1312E error in the error log file. Here's what the Messages manual says about this error: ANS1312E Server media mount not possible. Explanation: Server media mount not possible. The server timed out waiting for a mount of an offline volume. System Action: File skipped. User Response: Retry later when server volumes can be mounted. Given this error, I ran a selective backup of one of these files. During this backup, the node sends about 1.3MB and then fails with the error. And, during this time, I check to make sure the tapepool is not being utilized and no tapes are mounted. The server attempts no media mount and there are no actlog entries that indicate a problem. Has someone seen this? How can this be fixed?
