Hi all
Is it not true that when I take backup of database and delete old backups on
tapes .I do a full backup daily only one set of tapes I have for
restoration and that is full backup each day.As utilization %age is same
through out for rlog to recover,
And log does not increase until data increases considerably!!!!

Well, I heard from a Tivoli technical sales rep yesterday that development
is working on getting around that limitation. No time frame, though.

I am in a TSM class this week, and our instructor says the limit in 4.1 is
5.4 GB.

I've lost track - has the 5 GB limit on the size of the recovery log been
lifted in the V4.1 server?
The 5 GB limit is killing me here - it would be a good reason for me to
upgrade....
