I don't know if there's other folks out there using Spectrum Scale with mmbackup to Spectrum Protect, but we've been frustrated by the fact that it doesn't have a preview mode like the SP client has with PREVIEW BACKUP. I submitted a RFE people can vote on if it's a useful feature for others:
