I am replacing and old 3485 tape library with LTO5 tapes with a TS4300 with LTO8 tapes. I currently have a local copycontainer pool on LTO5 tape and need to move/recreate on LTO8 tape.
I see that I can add a second protectlocalstgpools and I am gathering then that the protect stgpool type=local will then write to them both in parallel. Is there a way to write to them in separate processes so I can still send tapes offsite while the new copycontainer pool is slowly populated?
