Hi all,

I read more and more about ransomware which is capable of encrypting data and
at the same time deleting backup data. That's why I would like to set
BACKDEL=NO on all nodes, wherever possible. I know the Data Protection for SQL
client requires BACKDEL=YES to function properly, but are there any other Data
Protection clients which require this parameter to be set to YES? We are using
DP for SQL, Oracle, Lotus Notes and SAP (which uses ARCHDEL=YES).
Thanks for any help in advance!

Kind regards,
Eric van Loon
