Looking for anyone who can provide info on this subject, does Spectrum Protect for Virtual Environments v.8.1.8 or 8.1.9 support Windows Server 2019 ?
The documentation (All requirements and passport advantage) appears to have conflicting information. On the product knowledge center it refers to technote # 1505139 in which lists both versions 8.1.8 and 8.1.9 windows support for only 2012 and 2016, but information on the package download page from PA also lists 2019. I have a Win2019 VM on VMware that has SQL and am trying to use application protection. I installed the VE datamover and data protection for databases but is not working and error messages have not helped so am looking first to be sure it is supported.
