We are finally decommissioning our 3494a libraries and ts1120 drives. I have approximately 2,000 cartridges to sell on the secondary market, but they must be erased before sale.
Obviously, we can't use a bulk eraser, as this will render the tapes useless. Has anyone ever tackled this problem, if so, I would appreciate some guidance. Tsm servers are RHEL 6.9 boxes, running tsm 7.1.7. Thanks for any assistance.
