We are constantly battling issues with using internal hard disk storage as tier-1 and ISILON/NFS as tier-2 storage with magtape as tier-3 (can't get enough disk to hold everything).
So I was thinking, is there any reason NOT to make 1-storage pool that encompasses the internal disk and ISILON storage? This would eliminate 1-level of data movement. All servers are RHEL 7 - 7.1.7.400. The internal disk is ext4. -- *Zoltan Forray* Spectrum Protect (p.k.a.
