I don't know if it will work but I was told it was not officially supported
by the consultant I had here from IBM Global services. I did not want to
take the chance. It only added a day to upgrade to 3.7 I stayed at 3.7
server until I had all clients upgraded to 4.1 then finished upgrade to 4.1
server.....
I never tried backing up & restoring a node with 3.1 client & 4.1 server...

Does this mean "works, but is not officially supported" ? I was under the
impression that the older clients still work with newer server code.
