Stefan,
This isn't of much help but it has to be defined in the client add wizard of
the operations center, if you define a node from the server CLI it defaults to
1.
Adding a client using the OC you will notice on the console that it explicitly
specifies 7 for the maxnummp parameter.

ANR2017I Administrator ##### issued command: REGISTER NODE TEST ?***?
USERID=NONE TYPE=CLIENT AUTHENTICATION=LOCAL DOMAIN=FILE_DOMAIN
DEDUPLICATION=SERVERONLY SSLREQUIRED=DEFAULT MAXNUMMP=7

I spent a considerable amount of time trying to figure out how to change it but
so far have had no luck.

Subject: [ADSM-L] Change MAXNUMMP Value for Registering Nodes in OC

Hi all,

does anybody know if it is possible to change the default MAXNUMMP-Value which
is used to register Nodes via Operations Center?
It always uses MAXNNUMMP=7, I'd like to change it to 8, if possible.
I know I can change it afterwards, but then I can do registering via command
line anyway...
