the basics. Make 100% sure no procs run on the old pool, reclaims etc, all must be stopped and removed from housekeeping. Change all to be converted copygroups to point to the new pool, double check that stuff too. :-)
"q conversion" to follow progres "reset conversion" to reset conversion. You will need this reset conversion if something (or someone) did in fact start (for example) a reclaim on the old pool, this reclaim locks volumes and can cause data to be skipped during conversion, the reset will make it so that it can still convert this data. It's pretty fast and doesn't seem to impact backups/restores other than making them a bit slower.
