We are confuse on how to handle cleaning tape in TSM environment. Background information: IBM TS3200 tape library TSM server on AIX I had search internet; which comes out two different suggestion. A. Let the Tape library handle the auto-cleaning B. Disable Tape library auto-cleaning and configure TSM to handle auto-cleaning So what will be the different between them; any pros and crons of it ? Also if we would like to insert more than one cleaning tapes, which one can handle it ?
