Subject: Training recommendations

My department has been offered some employee training funds that are
subject to some odd constraints. The training must take place by the
end of June 2001. It must be in Pennsylvania. My manager is still trying
to find out exactly what the location requirement is. It may, for
example, be required that the vendor have a permanent presence in the
state. The funds can apparently be used anywhere in the state, but a
location in or near Philadelphia would be most convenient for me and
my employer. The amount of money offered is $1,000.00 per employee.
This can be supplemented with some funds from my department's normal
training budget. The subject matter must have some connection with
my current job responsibilities, but is not necessarily limited to
backup and recovery as such. For example, SAN technologies or system
administration for Windows NT or HP-UX (most of our TSM clients use
one or the other) would also be possibilities. Can anyone recommend
a course that fits these requirements?
