Go download the tar file again using the ftp switch for binary. I bet the size
of the tar file changes a bit and you will be able to untar the thing...

trying to install TSM clinet on HP-UX , but unable to extract the tar file
. downloded from tivoli web site today.
solaris , AIX tar files works fine ..any idea ?
