Hallo Larry, we use SQL-Backtrack for Oracle Version 3.2.80 (?) and obsi.adsm 2.5.00 together with TSM Version 4.1 Server on SUN and it works great (for me). We backup some 15 SAP R/3 Systems (production and test every night, quality systems once a week) without problems. All are online backups, no incrementals, because our SAP-basics staff don't like it. Here in Germany support is ok (an former collegue from the earlier mainframe age is now specialist for SQL Backtrack here in Hamburg) and the pricing based on db size was one of the reasons, why we decided to take it. We are an asp for SAP and run a lot of small systems, where server-based priced is not adequate. I am really interested in both Oracle and SQL Server! 1) Does SQL-Backtrack backup directly into TSM without having to use/buy the TSM TDP for Oracle/SQL Server ? 2) Can you do a HOT backup of the Oracle/SQL Server database ? 3) Is it slick ... does it work well ? Thank you, Larry
