I assume you've put all the tapes in the library? And that the library
audited itself after you closed the door?
You can also issue an
audit library LB4.0.0.4 checklabel=barcode
Before you attempt the label command.

Subject: TSM with Compaq TL891
Hello !
Im not sure im in the rigth forum(listserver) but i'll try this anyway:
I recently installed TSM 4.1 (4.1.1.0) on a Compaq DL380 server with
attached DLT library TL891 running Windows2000 Server.. My problem is that
TSM won't label my tapes.. (looks like it doesn't find any tapes) If I use
the Media Labeling Wizard it shows just an empty chart wich is not
editable.. If use Command line interface i get the following:
Command:
LIBVOLUME LB4.0.0.4 SEARCH=YES LABELSOURCE=BARCODE CHECKIN=SCRATCH
OVERWRITE=YES
Log:
16:18:33 ANR8801I LABEL LIBVOLUME process 2 for library LB4.0.0.4 completed;
0 volume(s) labelled, 0 volume(s) checked-in. 02/27/2001 16:18:33 ANR0985I
Process 2 for LABEL LIBVOLUME running in the BACKGROUND completed with
completion state SUCCESS at 16:18:33.
I've also tried manual labeling (without BARCODE option) wich sort of end up
the same way..
Im running the TSM device drivers (NOT the NT native).. The devices are
identified correctly and no faults reported in any logs...
Have I missed something in the configuration or has someone experinced the
same thing ??
