ERROR DESCRIPTION:
If working with TSM 4.1.2 client for SUSE Linux failes, if
trying to backup objects, containing german umlauts.
Dsmerror.log shows messages:
"fioScanDirEntry(): Object '/local/xcc4010/notes/hs.rs.id' con-
tains unrecognized symbols for current locale, skipping..."
or "ANS1228E Sending of object '/pub/FAZMM/xcc4007/lotus/arbeit/
smartctr/Gesch"ftliches' failed "
Similar problem noted with Red Hat Linux v6.2 (Japanese)
running TSM Client v4.1.2 during backup. dsmerror.log shows:
fioScanDirEntry(): Object '/home/ ' contains unrecognized sym
ANS1228E Sending of object '/home/ ' failed
LOCAL FIX:
Temporary workaround is to move back to 4.1.1 client
