hi all
we've got adsm problems after which ibm's support told us to :
- run dsmserv auditdb archstorage fix=no
- backup the database
- run dsmserv auditdb archstorage fix=yes
the first step took at least 8 hours (but less than 14), and completed
successfully
the second one hour as usual, and completed successfully too
the third is running since 9:00 (paris local time) and i'm afraid i've to
expect it running for days :-(
the server is an F50 / AIX 4.2.1
the database is 8 GB and is supposed to contain 10-20 million objects
after 5 hours the last message says that 600,000 objects have benn
processed (1/20th !)
any idea to make it faster ?
