Hi all
Under the 3.1.0.7 Solaris client a few users created archives (one per
user) with the same description.
Under the 3.7.2.0 Solaris Client (and 4.1.2) only one of these users is
able to see his data under the
"Retrieve files and directories from long term storage" from within dsm.
(Btw.: the other users can still retrieve their data using dsmc.)
Server is AIX 4.3.3 with TSM 3.7.3.6
The effect is that the filespace (filesystem) doesn't show any further
subdirectories when being expanded, although data is known to be there.
Does that ring a bell to anybody? Should we take care so that no two
users archive data under the same archive description?
Have the selection criteria changed within dsm? (Under dsm of 3.1.0.7 user
have seen part of the other users directories which might have been
subject to change (?) )
How can we make the data visible in TSM 3.7/TSM 4.1's dsm?
