Sorry about the previous post - hit the wrong button...
If you are on an HP machine, you can use the 'mc' command to manipulate
tapes in a library. If you want more info, either 'man mc' or ask. I can
give you more info. HP is the only system on which I am administering TSM
so can't help otherwise. More than likely, from the posts on this forum,
you are not on HP. Doesn't look like too many people are using TSM on
HP-UX.

Does anyone know how to determine
what tape is in slot number 90.
Seems "q libvol" only lists the tapes
that it know about.
