Informix ON-Bar backup getting timed out

Hi

We have AIX 4.3.3 with TSM 3.7.0 running Informix 7.24 UC3. During Level 1
backup, we get time out with XBSA error 96 and Shared memory communication
protocol. We increased ConnTimeout from 60 to 120. It backed up few dbspaces
of Informix and got timeout again. Can we increase this value ? If yes to
what extend we can increase this value without hampering performance.
