ps -ef | grep sched
then look for the process number
kill dsmc_sched_process_number

I set up in inittab
root>lsitab -a | grep sched
adsm:2:respawn:/usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmc sched >/dev/null 2>&1

now to start it from the aix prompt
nohup /usr/tivoli/tsm/client/ba/bin/dsmc sched >/dev/null 2>&1 &

later,
Dwight

Subject: Stop/Starting TSM client scheduler

Can anyone tell me the client command to stop the client scheduler, then to
start it up again??

We are using an AIX 4.3, TSM 3.7 client.

Thanks in advance
