I have heard this has been in the works for quite a while. Your future
AS/400 will be purchased, unboxed, and IPL'd. A screen will display your
setup options and you can choose either AIX or OS/400. Same basic hardware,
same processor, same architecture.
This is what I have heard, so, for what it its worth...I would say..its to
close to call.

ADSM 3.1.2 is the latest available for AS/400 (running OS/400).
TSM 4.1.x does not exist for AS/400.
I've never heard of RS/6000 running on AS/400 hardware.

The operatung system is OS/400 version 4 release 5. On the mentioned
Internet
page there is a version for AS/400 and one for AIX. The IBM RS/6000 runs on
AIX, but not the AS/400 I guess.
Any idea?
