installing 4.1 clinet fro solaris

Hi all,
Downloaded  package from tivoli web site , uncompressed  by command
compress -d  IP22087 ,  unpacked ,
when tried to install , gives following error.



# pkgadd -d TIVsmCapi
pkgadd: ERROR: no packages were found in </usr/TIVsmCapi>


what could be the problme ? I am following exact steps in Readme .ftp
