Dear all,
I 'm using TSM 3.7 and HP1557A tape drive (12/24 Gb * 6)for backing up
the data, the client include: TDP for Domino,
TSM backup client. My config is 8Gb for diskpool and nextpool is tape
drive. Everyday, I need to backup min. 7G of data including
email server (Lotus domino), and some important files.
I setup the schedule for migration at everyday 03:00 using the command
:update stg dis hi=0 lo=0.
And disable it at 09:00. When the migration process started, all the libvol
status change to private.
When this happened, the vol (one of libvol) can't change to scratch, i.e.
can't backup any data.
How should I do to change the tape(vol) to scratch?
Also, my tape drive is 12/24Gb, what's the size should I set for the
reclaim pool ?
Actually, I had try a 2 Gb for reclaimpool with 2/4Gb tape drive and backup
about 2 Gb data, it's worked.
But now is for 12/24Gb tape lib, I don't want to get a 24Gb disk space for
reclaimpool coz it's actual waste,
so I had no idea for it. Any suggestion?
