Dear all, Hackathon at IETF 118 in Prague was well attended and good progress was made on implementations and drafts. From a European perspective, the upcoming two IETF meetings are quite distant and this will have an impact on the possibility to travel for employment, environmental and private reasons. As a remedy, we are arranging a Hackathon in Paris at the end of May 2024, which is halfway between IETF 119 and IETF 120. The idea is to simply mimic the basics of an IETF Hackathon - a room with large tables, sockets and Internet access. The event will be hosted by Inria Paris at a nearby conference facility. Lunches will be provided by the organization. Since the facilities don’t allow an IETF Hackathon setup, the scope has been set to lightweight IoT security-related topics. This includes, but is not limited to, interop testing and progressing the drafts related to the work of the IETF CoRE, ACE & LAKE working groups: - Secure CoAP group communication and related techniques - OSCORE enhancements or applications - EDHOC including extensions and applications, EAP-EDHOC - ACE profiles - Lightweight certificate enrolment The event will take place in Paris, France on 21-22 May 2024. There is a limit on the number of participants so the First Come, First Served policy will be applied. The registration form link is available in the header of this invitation. The conference facility offers accomodation, also affordable to students. As of now, the booking for May 2024 is not yet open. We will notify the registered participants once the booking of these affordable rooms at the venue opens. The link for booking is https://www.fiap.paris <https://www.fiap.paris/>. Please note that this is not an official IETF Hackathon. Mališa and Göran
