Hi all,
I am referring to the email of Hannes found at
https://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ace/current/msg01869.html
<https://www.ietf.org/mail-archive/web/ace/current/msg01869.html>
I would ask the group to take on this work, and find a decent (and possibly
controllable) balance between actual security needs and latency. E.g. in a
lighting environment a presence detector signal needs to propagate rather quick
to a larger set of light points to turn them on, but the authentication
security need for this single operation is rather low, asking for
re-authentication e.g. in a decent interval rather than for complex (and
resource consuming) full authentication for every message sent.
