All,

Starting today, we will be going through all of our hypervisor nodes and
upgrading them to AlmaLinux 9 from AlmaLinux 8. After the hypervisors are
upgraded, we will be also upgrading the controller node which will require
around 30-45 minutes of downtime for services related to that. I will send
an email out when I plan to do the controller upgrade.

Due to the lack of support for live migration with the current version of l
ibvirt on the nodes, we will need to do a "cold" migration of each VM. This
means we will gracefully shutdown the VM and move it to another node. I am
hoping the newer libvirt will finally provide support for live migration.

I will send out periodic updates if needed. I expect this to last a couple
of weeks between all the various nodes we need to do this on.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
