If you find that interesting you might also want to look into the Avaota A1 by Pine64. The specs sound similar, but Pine has a history of releasing an SoC and then releasing a device based on the SoC (ie A64 -> Pinephone, Quart64 -> Pinenote) so there's a reasonable chance it would give a head start on a.. something. It's based on the Allwinner T527, so some of the code from the A64 kernel might be re-useable. I bought one to play with after the 9phone is usable to get a headstart in case they make a pinephone2 (3?) based on it, but I haven't tried anything other than booting the stock android image and making sure I could get output on the uart. - Dave ------------------------------------------ 9fans: 9fans Permalink: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/Tf6d264eef1d3cf72-M8060de4e695fa825d3cf985d Delivery options: https://9fans.topicbox.com/groups/9fans/subscription
