wircrc is a multi-window irc client written in shell script. It's probably best used in a sub-rio to keep all its windows together. I'm not sure where to find it. If it's not in contrib, maybe ask cinap_lenrek. There's also a single-window shell script client, ircrc which is in 9front and probably contrib too. 9front has a bittorrent client.
