Off-topic and perhaps unpopular view, but I *like* the fact that Plan 9 is not (significantly) more popular. Popularity has ruined many a promising creation. Although please do not take this to mean that I don't value all the work that has been going into developing the community and continuing to evolve and move forward. Luddites like me also greatly benefit from it.
