All that is bad...but glibc is worse. The issue is that you kinda *have* to use it, no matter how simple or complicated or stupid your program is. It's just...there. If you want to use a sane(r) libc like musl, your users need another dependency. Granted, there are other bad libraries or libraries with bad APIs (OpenSSL, SDL [especially for playing short sounds!], PCRE, etc.). However, you really don't *have* to use them.
