There is definitely some learning curve and mindset change, but day-to-day use involves only a handful of commands. The O'Reilly book on Git is a reasonable way to learn it. I haven't used hg or bzr, but compared to svn and cvs, git is light years ahead. This is also true of some of the commercial variants such as Perforce and TFS. I know some real git fanatics. I'm not one, but I am a "fan". :-) I'll be happy to continue a discussion with you offline, if you wish. Thanks, Arnold
