i think the problem is that the default pc kernel doesn't have a built-in usbd. i've been fighting this, which may just be pig-headed of me. :-) try this kernel instead. http://ftp.quanstro.net/other/9pc.gz some of the wierd results you may be seeing are likely due to bios emulation of a ps/2-style keyboard for usb keyboards. - erik
