Sadly I think this is just people adding complexity because, 'that’s how Linux does it', and must be correct. Either that or they desire complexity for familiarity; an even more chilling possibility. I'm truly baffled. "Let us not trust the good people who developed this system to know what they were doing. We are users with little systems development experience, and clearly know more than them." At least that’s the message I'm getting from all of this... downright disgraceful. >iru
