i had some trouble using /dev/reboot with vesa graphics enabled. i have been using this code rather than the standard /dev/reboot: http://9fans.net/archive/2009/12/140
i had a brain wave a few weeks ago but i haven't had a chance to test it until today. and surprisingly, it works. ; aux/vga -l text && >/dev/reboot echo reboot /386/9pc my terminal can reboot from rio to rio in under 3 seconds. cavet emptor: i've only verified this to work on 1 terminal. ymmv. - erik
