Me either, I like vi better than emacs simply because it
requires fingertwisting much more rarely.

I wish I'd kept the original IBM PC (Not AT) keyboard I
had.  Esc was at the left of 1, and the numeric pad
wasn't stupidly far off to the right.  Linux has a
driver for PC keyboards too.
