(at least the 63xxesb southbridge). the ide driver works with ide drives and the ahci driver works with sata drives. on that s.b. do you get any messages from either the ide driver or the ahci driver? i have not tried booting from the livecd in a very long time. i would think the sdD0 in plan9.ini would be a problem with recognized hardware. - erik
